Brewery France

In 2008, Wyckerveste acquired the former Motte Cordonnier brewery in Armentières, France. Over the years, Wyckerveste has succeeded in rezoning this location, focusing on both residential housing and leisure, supplemented by leisure-related retail.

New homes are currently being developed on an area of approximately 25,000 m², largely within the historic buildings of the former brewery. In addition, a plan has been developed for a leisure area of around 45,000 m², including retail facilities that align with the leisure concept. Furthermore, there is an expansion opportunity on a site of approximately 29,000 m².

The objective is to finalize the plan in 2022, engage the relevant users in the project in 2023, and commence the actual construction of the buildings in 2024-2025. In this redevelopment, a large portion of the monumental historic buildings will be preserved and, following restoration, will be assigned a new function within the new development plan.
