P7 Rodaboulevard Business Park
In 2003, the business park on Rodaboulevard in Kerkrade was opened, featuring a multi-tenant building that houses various peripheral retail formulas, including Decathlon. With a floor area of nearly 19,000 m², the site offers a versatile mix of sports, retail, and various community and office functions. Approximately 1,000 free parking spaces are located around the premises.
In 2021, Decathlon Kerkrade was equipped with 1,500 solar panels, followed by the addition of 767 solar panels on the Sportboulevard and Kwantum. These sustainable initiatives contributed to the business park achieving energy label A. However, this was not the only improvement. The multi-tenant building underwent a thorough renovation, during which the facade was fitted with an expanded metal support structure and an aluminum composite frame was installed around the entrances. These interventions have significantly enhanced the access to various stores, including tanning salon Sunny Day, the first Hornbach Vloeren in the Netherlands, SPORT2000, Ski & Outdoor Discount Store, Jumbo Golf & Hockey, and Kwantum.
In 2024, Decathlon was updated with a new corporate identity and the facade was refurbished. Wyckerveste is currently working on the renovation and further sustainability improvements of P7, in conjunction with the surrounding parking areas and functions.
